相传近几年海边有一片死亡区域，那里停放着成百上千艘有几层楼之高的幽冥船，路过这片区域的没人能活着回来。而在这附近，有一座边陲小镇，每当夜幕降临的时候,魔鬼就会出没在小镇之中，所以镇上，早已人心惶惶。这一天，狄仁杰随父亲来到这里，巧遇了捕快金燕子，后两人联手，通过层层抽丝剥茧，设法来到这片幽冥船上。。。
